Personal Interests

My personal interests and enjoyment come from family vacations to traditional American destinations with my four kids, ages 16-22; spring break trips to warmer climates; running marathons (22 so far!) and other shorter road races; July Fourth at my parents’ cabin in Okoboji, Iowa; annual “Cousin Camping” weekend trips with my husband’s family; “Thirsty Thursday” with my running friends; Vikings games at the stadium or in our garage; weekly Sunday family movie and pizza nights with my husband and our kids; neighborhood “wine club” gatherings; and hiding in our laundry room, listening to country music, determined to solve the unmatched sock mystery. I’m blaming it on the black lab.
